This needs to be addressed further and a final verdict rendered as to whether it's truly modding your profile to transfer a map file on a USB drive. If it's allowed in the PC version, the game developers probably intended it to be allowed for other versions of the game. Mojang and 4J should be making this call, not Microsoft.
